It's holiday time and you are full of holiday spirit, but again you left gift shopping to last minute, great job. You noticed recently abandoned former youth center and decides to scout it for possible "gift ideas" that might had been left behind.  Unlike your other life decisions this one surely won't backfire, right?

Just do your best and try to gather something, nothing more is expected from you.

Hi itchio Horror, thanks for video and playing Merry Marras ! Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

(+1)

This was a really fun scavenger hunt in a very creepy place! Love the monster designs, and the overall atmosphere was done very well! I appreciate the nod to various YouTubers in here, and the little bits and pieces of humor as well! Overall, an enjoyable horror experience! Great work!

Thanks for playing Merry Marras, glad you enjoyed the game. While nothing worth to play again, there was small extra nod to you in "computer room" at computer monitor which had "google searches".

(+1)

Funnily enough, I ran through the game again to get some better angles for the thumbnail and I happened to notice that. I actually laughed out loud when I saw it LOL. Thanks again for putting me in here, I'm honored! Sorry it took me so long to respond to your email LOL

(+1)

Glad to hear you found it funny and no worries on delay, it was written in good spirit and as a joke (after chatting with you in one of your streams). Thanks for the video once again !

(+1)

enjoy the game but the keycode part was a bit annoying sept from that great game and keep the good games come out from you byee

Thanks for playing Merry Marras. I can see how keycode part could be annoying / hard to spot, noticed that trend with other gameplay videos. Something I'm looking to improve for next release.

yeah dude if you want to put me on game or don't I don't mind

VERY GOOD HORROR GAME DEV

(+1)

Thank you for playing Merry Marras !

(+1)

Nice horror game! I think it could use a little extra work like the sound design and stuff to make it more ambient later on in the game. But for what it is I really enjoyed! :)

(1 edit)

Thank your playing Merry Marras. Sound design is indeed something which I have always found quite troublesome, hoping to improve upon that in future.

(+1)

Okay so right from the beginning this was creepy, and it just got creepier the more I played! Would've loved maybe one more chase scene though! But overall, it was a great experience! Well done!

Hi swift3dge, I was actually just watching your video, thanks for playing Merry Marras ! About chase scenes and such, many of them were removed as I thought they would had been annoying in such limited space. Near the end originally mannequins were planned to come after you from the closed rooms (two larger rooms with double doors).

(+1)

No problem! Ooooh that would've been so creepy and I can see why it would have been a little frustrating

(+1)

scary game

Hi moooon, thanks for the video and glad to hear you found game to be scary enough.

(+1)

Hello, I have enjoyed your game a lot, I would like you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, Merry Christmas everyone, greetings friends ...

Hi placebogames, thanks for the video and glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Hi ezez game, thanks for the video.

(+1)

This was one of the first chrsitmas horror games I've ever played. It only got one really good jump outta me but other than that I really enjoyed the puzzle solving in this game!!

Hi deebs, thanks for the video. Jump scares were bit limited indeed as I wanted to focus on different aspects this time around, mainly working on cutscene workflow for next project in mind and this smaller scale game worked as testing grounds for that. Glad to hear you enjoyed Merry Marras.

(+1)

Probably one of the best Christmas-y horror games of the season. Definitely had a really good atmosphere. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thanks for the video WildRozen, just finished watching it. Glad to hear you enjoyed Merry Marras.

That was a really cool experience. Creepy and weird. I love it! And thanks for the shoutout, dude! That's hella cool of you. I love the atmosphere in this game. It left me always wondering what was gonna happen next.

(+1)

Thanks for the video, glad you enjoyed Merry Marras ! Not sure if you managed to see it, but your face was also featured in computer room (middle monitor).

I think I missed that but I'll go back and take a look!

(+1)

Creepy loved it.

I can't believe you actually put me in this game! This makes me so happy. THANK YOU! As for the game, I left a couple of notes at the end of the video! GIVE IT A TRY EVERYONE!

Please subscribe!

Thanks for the video and glad you enjoyed Merry Marras !

This game wasn't very scary, at least for me. I will admit the atmosphere was pretty solid and enjoyed the overall design of the game. The mannequins were absolutely terrifying...definitely kudos on that, especially appreciate the little tributes to the youtubers. Keep making games man, definitely enjoy them and look forward to more from you guys.

Happy Holidays

Hi Puppy Floppy, thanks for making video and providing feedback. I do admit I had problems trying to balance "scare factor". Most of the jump scares and loud noises were removed which might or might had not increased level of scary for certain people (I personally find them annoying, so decided to remove). Every feedback helps towards next projects, thanks again.

I appreciate the response, I personally hate constant loud noises and jumpscares around every corner. So finding a balance can be tough, I honestly can't imagine being a game designer. Your game was really well made and ran smooth which is already more than most can say. Keep me posted on more projects, always looking to link up with devs to try and get their work out there. Again man awesome job on the game and look forward to more from ya. Happy Holidays stay safe out there!!

PS im also on twitter and feel free to message me anytime on there about future projects

As soon as I launched it, this is what happened -

LAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAG

Literally wasn't playable, but wish i could play your game, looks really creepy!

Hi, sorry to hear that you were having performance issues. Game does require bit "higher end" hardware, some guidelines specs is listed on "Game tested on following hardware:" section.

(+1)

It's fun, but it's scary!

Thanks for the comment Tzuay ! Game did it's job then, was aiming for fun but somewhat creepy.

(+1)

This is good. The puzzles weren't too hard but still enjoyable to play. Good job!

Thanks for the video and glad you enjoyed the game. Puzzles were indeed easy as I wanted to make something quick and "fun" to play instead anything too "serious".

(+1)

A very nice experience as always with your games man i cannot wait to see more!

(+1)

Hi Shaun, thanks again for the video ! It was pleasure to see your reaction when you noticed my little surprise.

That was cool but super easy. 4/5

Thanks for the video Gamers Nation ! Game is easy indeed, wanted to create something that players could quite easily complete this time around.
